John Mabbott, Executive Director

John has more than 20 years of experience improving organizational and human resource performance primarily within British Columbia's health care system. His background includes building collaborative partnerships between employees, employers, and post-secondary educators, businesses, and government.

He is the former Executive Director of the University of British Columbia Centre for Health Care Management, the BC Society of Laboratory Science, and the Healthcare Labour Adjustment Agency of BC.

Jan Goode, Senior Consultant, Physician Services

Jan has over 25 years of experience in health care human resources and operations management in Canada and Australia.

Prior to joining Health Match BC in 2001, she was Manager of Strategic Recruitment at one of Canada's leading medical schools.

Margaret Kennedy, Senior Consultant, Physician Services

Prior to joining Health Match BC in 2003, Marg was a Recruitment Consultant for one of BC's largest health authorities. She has over 25 years experience in clinical, administrative and academic nursing.

Marg was the 2008/2009 Chair of the Canadian Association of Staff Physician Recruiters.

Eva Mendez, Senior Consultant, Nurse and Allied Health Services

Eva joined Health Match BC in July 2009 from the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority where she was the Clinical Nurse Educator for Primary Care for the Inner-City, Clinical Nurse Educator for Communicable Diseases Control, and a Community Health Nurse with their Infant, Child and Youth Program.

She is fluent in Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.

Catherine Omueti, Consultant, Recruitment Services

A Certified Human Resources Professional with the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA), Catherine joined our physician services team in 2005, moving to allied health services in 2009. Two years later, her role expanded to providing recruitment consulting for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

Her personal experience of immigrating to Canada makes her a true authority on the challenges faced by professionals moving to BC. 

Yvonne Attwood, Office Manager

Prior to joining Health Match BC, Yvonne spent four years at the Health Employers Association of BC, six years as Office Manager for the BC Transplant Society, and five years as the Office Manager for the Department of Pediatrics, King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
