Role and Facility Information

Full-time practice opportunity for a suitable family physician, applicants are sought to join our practice as we expand our clinic space to meet the high patient demand.

The clinic is a well established, centrally situated and consistently busy clinic with a great reputation in the community for providing thorough quality care, and a loyal patient following.

Clinic is a full-service family practice with an integrated open access (walk-in) component. We provide the full range of comprehensive family medicine services to a large patient population from Campbell River and environs, as well as to many patients traveling from the North Island and the Comox Valley. We also provide extended hours for urgent care services to the public during evenings and weekends, and we often manage complex medical issues and high acuity presentations encompassing the full range of family medical practice.

Applicants are encouraged to also apply for hospital inpatient privileges at Campbell River Hospital. Optional obstetrics privileges are available to suitably qualified interested applicants, but are not mandatory. Nursing home call is available. Suitably qualified applicants may also consider participating in emergency room shifts on an optional locum basis.

We pride ourselves in operating efficiently in a streamlined, well organized fashion, using OSCAR EMR (no paper charts), therefore typing and basic computer skills are important.
